Starting on March 8th, 2022, Alberta retailers will be able conduct online cannabis sales (after obtaining official endorsement from AGLC).
This article outlines the steps in getting your online merchant account approved. After this has been completed, you will log into your payment processor dashboard and copy + paste the API keys to us. This will allow Buddi to connect with your payment account for online sales.
Buddi works with these three payment processor companies: Merrco, Moneris, and Global Pay. You can reach out to your provider to begin set up right away; the sooner the better. Applications can be reviewed in advance but processing capabilities will not be available until March 8th.
Please send us the API Keys as soon as it becomes available. It will be entered into your Buddi account and ready to be enabled, along with your Hard Age Gate (and Delivery, if applicable).
