Troubleshooting steps:
- Check the product packaging to ensure that the UPC code you entered is accurate.
It is usually 12 digits long (14 digits if you include the leading 00's). - Make sure that your purchase order has been completed. Check the inventory count in your POS dashboard.
- If you find that your UPC code is accurate and the product is in stock in the POS, but your product information is missing or the product isn’t showing on the Buddi menu at all — please email support@buddi.io and include the following details:
- Product Name
- Producer/Brand
- Size/Variant
- UPC (not the SKU)
- 1-2 photos of the physical product label (optional but very helpful)
- Use the Buddi Admin Portal as a troubleshooting tool*
Remember how Buddi integrates with your POS. The UPC code is the key to having products show up on both systems. Menu items will sync into Buddi as long as it is in stock and has an accurate UPC code and a price entered in your POS dashboard.
Keep in mind that product content updates take time to sync into Buddi. Please click on 'Sync New Products' under Force Sync to speed up the process. Email us at support@buddi.io for assistance at any time if you want the sync to be immediate. We would be happy to help!
*How to use the Buddi Admin Portal as a troubleshooting tool:
- Sign into app.buddi.io as an Admin > go to 'My Menu'
- Uncheck 'Only added to Menu' to see all items in Buddi's Product Database
- Type in keywords of the Product Name
- Cannabis products with LP/Brand indicated under the 'Producer' column are applicable (blank = unlinked)
- Click on 'View UPC Codes' to see the UPC code(s) that we have in our database
- Cross-reference that UPC with your product label or listing in your POS catalog
