Creating Product Bundle Discounts

Overview

The 'Product Bundles' feature in Buddi Promotions enables you to encourage customers to buy more and help move old inventory or sell certain products quicker!

Product Bundle Settings

There are 2 types of product bundle discounts you can create in Buddi:

Same Product Type (e.g. Get 3 beverages and get 1 at 10% off)
Two Specific Products (Selected using the 'Individually Select' function) ***NEW***

With option 2, while you can select only 2 specific products for a bundle at a time, keep in mind that you can run multiple bundle discounts simultaneously. ***NEW***

How to Set up a Bundle:

Enter a Name for your bundle.
Select which location(s) where the promotion will be applicable.
Select the Bundle Type:
1. Same Product Type (e.g. Get 3 beverages and get 1 at 10% off); or
2. Two Specific Products (Selected using the Individually Select function) ***NEW***
Set the Discount:
1. Define the Quantity.
2. Define the Type of Discount (% or $) ***NEW***
  - % off ONE equal or lowest priced item in the bundle; or
  - % off entire bundle; or
  - $ off entire bundle.
Optional: Set a specific start date and/or end date for your product bundle.
Hit 'Save'.

What Product Bundle Discounts Look Like

How it is Displayed on the Menu:

The discount is taken off the product of equal or lesser value. As the customer adds the eligible product to the cart, the messaging encourages them to add more products to complete the bundle.

The customer can add the exact same product or a different product (same product type) to complete the bundle. I.e. two of the exact same flower or two different flower products.

How it is Displayed at Checkout:

The products will be separate based on the quantity that is applicable in the bundle. In the example below, the bundle is Buy 2 flowers, get 1 at 10% off. Since 4 flowers have been purchased, the bundle discount is applied to 2 products.

How it is Displayed in the Order Queue:

In the Buddi Order Queue, the Bundle Discount is applied as a separate line item to differentiate from the other discounts that are being applied.

How it is Displayed in Greenline:

If a Bundle Discount is applied, there will be a label called bundle as part of the Discounts Line Item in the Greenline dashboard.
