Getting Started
There are multiple areas in your Buddi menu to showcase promotions, with images being a highly effective way to captivate and engage customers:
- Logo / Hero Image: displayed prominently on the Tablet App homescreen (upload in 'Custom Branding')
- Featured Products Banner: presented at the top of your online menu and Tablet App menu
- Collection Tiles: positioned below the Featured Products Banner, if applicable
Notes:
- Recommended image sizes for these sections are provided below
- Our system accepts these file formats: JPG, PNG, TIFF, and GIF
- Collection Tiles: It's advisable to maintain consistency in size, such as 400px x 400px
Instructions to convert file formats and crop/resize images are provided below.
Convert an Image in PDF to a JPG File
- Open the PDF file containing the image you want to convert. Use your computer's default application for viewing PDFs (such as 'Preview' on Mac or 'Photos' or 'Paint' on PC)
- Locate the image within the PDF document
- Right-click on the image to reveal a menu
- Select an option like 'Export' or 'Save As' depending on your operating system
- Choose 'JPG' as the file format for the exported image
- Select a location on your computer to save the new JPG file
- Click "Save" or "Export" to finalize the process
Online Tools
You may want to crop your JPG into a suitable size. Using an online tool such as https://croppola.com, you can upload your JPG file and enter the banner dimensions in the ‘Manual’ tab, resize as needed, then download the generated image accordingly.
Featured Product Banner Dimensions
Desktop: 1440 width x 350 height (in pixels)
Mobile: 600 width x 350 height (in pixels)

Instructions for PC Users
- Open the JPG file on your computer
- Double-click on the JPG file to open it in Photos
- Click on the 'Edit & Create' button at the top right corner of the screen
- Select 'Edit' to open the image editing tools
- In the editing tools, click on 'Resize' and then choose 'Custom'
- Enter 1140px x 350px for the desktop banner, and 600px x 350px for the mobile banner
- Make sure the aspect ratio is locked to maintain proportions
- Click 'Apply' to resize the image
- Click on the 'Save' button to save the resized image
