Store Settings section of the Buddi dashboard is designed to help you manage various operational and customer-facing aspects of your menu.
Functions:
Store Hours
- Set and update your store's operating hours. Ensure customers know when your store is open and available for service.
Tax Settings
- Configure the tax rates applicable to your products based on category. This helps ensure accurate tax calculations that are consistent with your POS.
Filter Settings
- This contains the 'Sold Out Filter' function, which allow customers to view sold out products in your online menu and sign up for restock notifications if desired.
In-Store Kiosk: Settings
- Here you can customize the settings for your Tablet App. This includes user interface settings, such as when the shopping session resets and messages that pop up on the screen:
- Application Greeting Notification: when a customer first uses the tablet
- Custom Checkout Message: after a customer places an order
- It also contains the 'Product Comparison' feature, which enhances the shopping experience by allowing customers to compare products.
Online Menu: Messages
- Create and manage messages that are sent to customers regarding their order.
Online Menu: Configuration
- This section has general settings to control how your online menu operates, offering a range of customization options to suit your store's needs.
Online Menu: Delivery
- This section allows you to enable and configure delivery options for your customers, including setting delivery boundaries, custom messages, and fees.
Online Menu: Direct Mail
- Add an option to your online menu that allows you to ship products directly to your customers.
Online Menu: Curbside
- Enable this feature if you want to offer customers this option at checkout. Buddi allows you to enter two custom messages for customers placing curbside pickup orders:
- Curbside Checkout Page Message: This pops up at the checkout screen when customers select curbside pickup as their preferred fulfillment method.
- Curbside Thank You Page Message: This appears after the customer places their order and may contain instructions, such as where to park outside your store or how to notify the store upon arrival. Note: You also have the option to set a custom 'Curbside Order Type' notification for customers in Online Menu: Messages, which will be sent via text or email.
- Curbside Checkout Page Message: This pops up at the checkout screen when customers select curbside pickup as their preferred fulfillment method.
Online Menu: Payment
- Payment credentials obtained from your payment processor are entered here. This integration allows you to accept online payments for your Buddi menu. You can enable or disable various security features on this page.
Online Menu: Club Membership
- This page allows you to enable club membership options for your customers:
- Club Membership (3rd Party): Greenline POS users can integrate with AlpineIQ and Springbig for their Buddi menu, while Cova POS users can integrate with Springbig.
- Buddi Special Membership: Available to users of all POS systems, this feature allows you to apply a blanket discount (applied to all products) for customers who sign up for a membership profile.
- Club Membership (3rd Party): Greenline POS users can integrate with AlpineIQ and Springbig for their Buddi menu, while Cova POS users can integrate with Springbig.
Online Menu: Tags
- You can further customize your Buddi menu by entering CSS code snippets here.
Online Menu: Store Contact
- You can enter a custom message that appears at the footer of your online menu. This message is more visible when customers are in the process of checking out, replacing the default "NEED HELP?..." caption.
- You may want to include your store's address, phone number, email, other contact details, or your store's return policy.
Online Menu: Sign In/Up Content
- This message appears at the profile signup or sign-in page (or Hard Age Gate, if enabled in Online Menu: Configuration).
- You may want to include welcome messages, instructions, store contact details, and other relevant information to assist new and returning customers.
