Clearing your Browser Cache

Occasionally, outdated information may appear on websites or applications due to cached data. This can affect various parts of your experience, including the Buddi menu and the Admin Portal user interface.


Clearing your browser cache ensures that the most up-to-date information loads.

 


How to Clear your Browser Cache:


Safari on macOS:
  1. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click 'Safari' > select 'Preferences'.

  2. Go to the 'Privacy' tab.

  3. Click 'Manage Website Data'.

  4. Click 'Remove All' to clear all cached data.

  5. Confirm by clicking 'Remove Now'.


Google Chrome on Windows or macOS:
  1. Click the menu icon (three vertical dots) in the top-right corner.
  2. Select 'More tools' > 'Clear browsing data'.
  3. In the window that appears, choose the Time Range for which you want to clear cached data (e.g. 'All time').
  4. Ensure Cached images and files is checked. You can also select other types of data to clear.
  5. Click 'Clear data'.


Firefox on Windows or macOS:

  1. Click the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner.
  2. Select 'Settings' (or 'Options' on some versions).
  3. Go to the 'Privacy & Security' panel.
  4. Scroll down to the 'Cookies and Site Data' section.
  5. Click 'Clear Data'.
  6. Ensure Cached Web Content is checked. You can also choose to clear cookies if needed.
  7. Click 'Clear'.

Microsoft Edge on Windows or macOS:

  1. Click the menu icon (three horizontal dots) in the top-right corner.
  2. Select 'Settings'.
  3. Go to the Privacy, search, and services section.
  4. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
  5. Select the Time Range for which you want to clear cached data (e.g. 'All time').
  6. Ensure Cached images and files is checked. You can also select other types of data to clear.
  7. Click 'Clear now'.
