Enable Online Ordering

Online ordering can be turned ON or OFF as needed in Buddi.

Allow orders to be placed:

1. Go to the Admin Portal > Store Settings > Online Menu: Configuration
2. Checkmark 'Send orders to {POS}'
3. Checkmark 'Allow orders to be placed'
4. Hit 'Save'
   
   
5. Go to the Admin Portal > Store Settings > Online Menu: Store Hours
6. Ensure your Store Hours are entered and toggled on.
7. Go to your online menu (hit refresh if it's already open) to check that it's working.

Note: Add to Cart buttons will appear if online ordering has been enabled successfully.

Accept online paid orders:

To enable online payments, you must set up an online merchant account with your payment processor first. After this is set up, and Buddi has the API Keys needed for the integration, online payments can be enabled:

1. Go to the Admin Portal > Store Settings > Online Menu: Payment
2. Ensure that the API Keys have been entered. If it hasn't been entered, you'll need to send Buddi the API Keys. This is required to receive payments in your online merchant account.

   Instructions for Moneris users
   Instructions for Cova Pay users
   
   If you are using PayHQ or Global Payments, your payment processor will send the payment credentials directly to us after they have finished setting up your online merchant account.
   
   
3. Go to the Admin Portal > Store Settings > Online Menu: Configuration
4. Checkmark 'Accept online paid orders'
5. Select your payment processor provider
6. Under Pickup, select from one of these options: 'Pay Online', 'Payment In-Person', or 'Both Options Available'. Repeat this step for Delivery. if applicable.
7. Hit 'Save'

Note: Typically Buddi would email you to confirm after we have received your credentials and activated online payments. Feel free to reach out if you're unsure what stage you're at in the process.
