To accept paid orders online, first set up an online merchant account with your payment processor. Once this is done and the necessary API Keys are available, online payments can be enabled for your menu.
How to Enable Online Payments
- Go to the Admin Portal > Store Settings > Online Menu: Payment page.
- Ensure that the API Keys have been entered into this page. If it hasn't been entered, you'll need to send Buddi the API Keys. This is required to receive payments in your online merchant account.
- Go to the Admin Portal > Store Settings > Online Menu: Configuration page.
- Checkmark 'Accept online paid orders'.
- Ensure your payment provider is selected.
- Under Pickup, select from one of these options: 'Pay Online', 'Payment In-Person', or 'Both Options Available'.
- Repeat step #6 for Delivery (if applicable). Most retailers select 'Pay Online' only for this option.
- Hit 'Save'.
NOTE: Typically Buddi would email you to confirm after we have received your credentials and activated online payments. Feel free to reach out if you're unsure what stage you're at in the process.
