How Integrations Work

Our POS Integrated Partners

  • Cova
  • Greenline
  • TechPOS
  • Profitek
  • Barnet

If your POS is on the list, inventory can seamlessly sync into Buddi. You do not have to manually import/export cannabis products into our platform.

Once the integration is enabled in Buddi, live inventory will sync into the menu (if you have products in stock).

  • Product listings in your Buddi menu come preloaded with information (such as photos, LP/brand, variant, description, and cannabinoid content). The content is auto-populated from our database.

NOTE: We do our best to catalog content for products however we cannot catalog information on every cannabis product that exists due to the sheer number of them.

Requirements

These product details must be entered in your POS catalog:

  • UPC code ('Barcode' in Greenline)
  • Price
  • Inventory count

If your POS provider is not among our integrated partners, you will need to manually export and import your inventory daily to keep your online menu accurate and current.

Troubleshoot: Products Not Syncing

If products entered into your POS are not appearing on the Buddi menu, please check the following:

Are there any missing product details?

  • Ensure that your in-stock product has a UPC and Price entered in the POS catalog.

Has your integration been enabled by Buddi yet?

  • Retailers in onboarding phase: We typically enable it on our end once you have received your first cannabis shipment and completed your purchase order. Just let us know.

Are the UPC codes entered correctly into your POS?

  • Check the UPC in your POS catalog and cross-reference it with the physical product label or Buddi's product catalog in 'My Menu'.

What do UPCs look like?

  • Generally, Buddi is looking for 12 digit UPC codes in your POS. It can be easily mistaken with SKUs; they are not the same thing.
  • UPCs can be 14 digits long if there are two leading zeros in the front '00').
  • The string of numbers is also found on the product label, right after the '00'.

Is there inventory for the product?

  • Check the inventory count in your POS. Complete your Purchase Order once you've counted new inventory.

Is the system waiting for the next sync cycle?

  • Keep in mind that product content updates take time to sync into Buddi.
  • To speed up the process, click on 'Sync New Products' in 'My Menu':
NOTE: The 'Last Content Sync' function in 'My Menu' indicates when the last sync cycle kicked in: ## minutes ago. Refresh the browser to see the updated time.
