Update - July 4, 2025:

✅ All report cases of cURL error 6 have been resolved.

If you're experiencing order sync failures or stalled menu updates, please follow the steps in the 'Next Steps' section below and report the issue to support@techpos.ca with support@buddi.io Cc’d.

TechPOS has resolved the cURL error 6 issue that was affecting Buddi integrations. All retailers who reached out to us directly have been updated with new endpoints provided by TechPOS, and their integrations are now syncing successfully.


Issue Summary:
Multiple TechPOS-integrated retailers encountered  cURL error 6 : Could not resolve host when Buddi attempted to send order data. This indicated a DNS issue on TechPOS’s side, caused by recent changes to their API endpoints.

 

Status:

  • New endpoints have been received from TechPOS for all reported accounts

  • Buddi has updated those integrations, and syncing is now working as expected

  • If an account is still experiencing issues, it's likely the endpoint has not yet been updated on TechPOS’s side

  • We are continuing to monitor stability across all updated integrations

 

Next Steps:

If your store is still seeing  cURL error 6  in the Order Queue or a stalled 'Last Content Sync' timer (in 'My Menu'), please:

  1. Report the issue to support@techpos.ca - their team may need to update your endpoint configuration
  2. TechPOS will then send us the updated details so we can reconfigure your integration in Buddi
  3. In the meantime, we recommend keeping online ordering disabled to prevent missed orders:
    1. Go to the Admin Portal > Store Settings > Online Menu: Configuration page
    2. Uncheck 'allow orders to be placed'
    3. Hit 'Save'
