Overview:
Accessory products behave differently from cannabis products; product content will not auto-populate your menu. Retailers provide this info themselves, and we recommend inputting these details into your POS first.
NOTE: To save time in the long run, ensure your accessories in the POS catalog are complete with as much details as possible before syncing or importing.
This includes the following:
- Product Name
- UPC
- Price
- Description (optional but recommended)
- Photos (optional but recommended)
Notes on UPCs:
- You may need to create a new UPC code for an accessory if one doesn't already exist.
- The UPC is not the same thing as the product SKU. In fact, when making up a UPC, ensure that it is different from your SKU. Do not include any special characters / symbols; you may use letters, numbers, or a combination of both.
- Each variant, if applicable, requires its own UPC (ex. if it comes in different sizes, colors, quantity/pack, etc).
