Preparing Your Accessory Products for Sync
Accessory items behave differently from cannabis products—they do not come with standardized content. This means product names, descriptions, images, and other details must be added manually into your POS before syncing. These details will then carry over to Buddi.
TIP: For a smooth sync, ensure your POS accessory listings are as complete as possible before syncing.
Mandatory Fields to Include:
- Product Name
- UPC
- Price
Optional Fields to Include (Recommended)
- Description
- Photos
Notes on UPCs:
- Each variant (e.g. different sizes, colours, or pack quantities) requires its own UPC.
- If a UPC doesn’t exist, you can create one—just don’t reuse your SKU.
- Avoid special characters. Use letters, numbers, or both.
❌ Using a Non-Supported POS?
If you're not using Cova, Greenline, or TechPOS, accessory sync is not available. Instead, use one of these manual methods:
- Prepare an Excel file to upload into Buddi; or
