Syncing Exact THC & CBD Values

Buddi can pull exact THC and CBD Values or Ranges from your POS catalog. After Buddi activates this feature in the back-end, updates made in your POS will automatically sync into Buddi.

Getting Started

Before requesting this feature to be activated in Buddi, you will need to do this:

1. Choose which primary measurements you are using in Greenline for these categories:
   1. Flower: % or mg/g
   2. Pre-Roll: % or mg/g
   3. Vape: % or mg/g
   4. Concentrate: % or mg/g
2. Enter the values in your POS with the units you have chosen.
   

After the details have been completed in Greenline, email support@buddi.io to let us know what your primary measurements are. From there, we will activate the function accordingly.

• The values entered in your POS need to have consistent units.
  • !  Products not using stated primary measurements will show incorrectly on your menu.
    • For example, if you have chosen % as the primary measurement for flower, all flower products must be entered as %. Entering mg/g would create inflated values on your menu.
  • Notify support@buddi.io about any primary measurement changes. We would need to update our system accordingly.
    
    
• You have the option of leaving the THC & CBD fields blank for any of the products. In such case, those products would display Buddi's default THC & CBD ranges.
  
  
  
• While exact values can be entered in 'My Menu', we recommend that you enter all THC & CBD values in one system.
  • This method creates consistency, allowing your store to access the same THC & CBD data in both systems (e.g. POS terminal and online menu).
    
    
  • Exception: other cannabinoids besides THC & CBD, such as CBN or CBG, need to be entered in 'My Menu' since Buddi cannot sync these values directly from your POS.
    
    
    
• Min/Max Fields: Even if the Min/Max box is not checked in Greenline, ensure these fields are cleared when entering exact values.
  
  
  
• Edibles/Beverages: To prevent clutter in the menu, refrain from using Min/Max fields in the Edible and Beverage categories.
  
  
  
• Sync Cycles: Product content updates made in Greenline, including THC & CBD values, will appear in Buddi in the next sync cycle. Use the 'force sync' feature on the My Menu page of Buddi to speed up the sync.
  
  
  
• Menu Audits: Review your Buddi menu after receiving new inventory to ensure that the THC & CBD values are syncing properly into Buddi. A quick way to identify affected products is to sort the menu with 'THC: High to Low' and THC: Low to High' in the filters sidebar.
