Editing Content in 'My Menu'

Buddi offers the flexibility to customize product content directly within the Admin Portal on the 'My Menu' page. There is a lot of control over how your products are presented to customers.

NOTE: For retailers using integrated systems, certain product details can be edited directly in your POS catalog, which will then sync into Buddi (this includes Cova, Greenline, TechPOS, BarnetPOS, and Profitek).



How to Edit Content Within Buddi:

  1. Access Your Menu: Go to the Admin Portal > 'My Menu' page.

  2. Identify the product you want to update:
    • Type in a specific Product Name or address content notification errors that can appear on the right side (in red). Filter the errors if needed.
    • Copy relevant content from another source, like Buddi's Product Catalog (last tab on the page), a provincial supplier website, or the physical product label. Use a separate browser window to transfer the information easily.
    • Paste the copied content into the appropriate fields in Buddi.

  3. Format the Content:
    • Format the title and other details as desired. For example, you may choose to remove the grams from the title, or use the 'Variant Override' function to change how the variant label is displayed.
    • Add any additional pictures or details, such as gram options and strain type, to enhance the product listing.

  4. Make Necessary Modifications:
    • Customize the content to ensure it provides a better experience for your customers.
    • Ensure all necessary information is included and correctly formatted.

  5. Update Province Information:
    • If available, update the province information for the product.

  6. Hit 'Save'.

  7. Review Updated Content:
    • Verify that the updated content is now visible to your customers by refreshing your menu. Edits made in 'My Menu' should appear right away.



Available Customization Options:

  1. Name

    Brand

  2. Description
     
  3. Product Image(s)
     
  4. Origin Province & City
     
  5. Flavours
     
  6. Terpenes, including a breakdown of exact Terpene %'s
     
  7. Overall Terpene %
     
  8. Type (Product Category)
     
  9. Growing Method
     
  10. Strain Type

  11. THC & CBD Symbol (units)

  12. Quantity & Units (product variant)
     
  13. Other Cannabinoids: THC, CBD, CBN, & CBD (exact values or ranges)
     
  14. 'Allow integration to update THC & CBD':
    Uncheck this box if you want to use the THC & CBD values shown in this Buddi listing (instead of pulling the values from your POS catalog). NOTE: 
    This feature is only available to Greenline, Cova, TechPOS, and Profitek POS users.

  15. Quantity & Grams:
    This area is only applicable to the following product categories/types: Pre-roll, Infused Pre-roll, Beverage, Edible. This will change the appearance of the product variant on the menu, which is displayed next to the price.

  16. Dried Equivalency in Grams:
    Make instant adjustments if you notice any errors. Please kindly reach out to us at 
    support@buddi.io at your earliest convenience if you notice any discrepancies here. We will make it a priority to update our Product Database accordingly!

  17. Variant Override:
    Checkmark this box and enter anything you'd like to replace the product variant on the menu (set by L and O).
    For example, you may want to show '15 Tablets' instead of '15 Caps'; or
    '3 pcs' instead of '1 x 3pcs'; or
    '355mL' instead of '1 x 355mL'; or
    '4 bottles' instead of '4 pack'; or
    'Walnut' instead of 'Large' (as an accessory example).

    Checkmark this box if you want these changes to be applied across all store locations.


 
Don't forget to hit [ Save ] when you are finished!


NOTE: To restore the listing to Buddi's default settings at any point, hit 'Reset Content'.
