Everyone appreciates convenience. Why not enhance your customers' experience by offering delivery options? Set up Delivery for your online menu today!

How to Set up Delivery in Buddi

Step 1
Log into the Admin Portal > go to Store Settings > Online Menu: Delivery

Step 2

Checkmark 'Enable Delivery'

Step 3

Select 'Standard Delivery' if you are arranging delivery services independently, or Onfleet.

NOTE: Your delivery services can be arranged independently or be integrated with our delivery partner Onfleet. Keep in mind that they do not handle the logistics.

Step 4

Enter a 'Custom Delivery Message': this message will appear after the customer selects Delivery. It usually communicates the fulfillment time of the delivery, or perhaps when the order will arrive or be shipped out. You can also include contact info here.

Step 5
Delivery Hours

*NEW* If you are offering delivery only on specific days/hours of the week:

  1. Checkmark 'Delivery Hours'.

  2. Type or use the up/down arrows to enter values in the 'Open Time' and 'Close Time' fields (on the days that you offer delivery).

  3. Toggle those days ON using the switch.

Delivery Hours will automatically display at the checkout screen.

Outside of delivery windows, a red message would display below the Delivery Hours to let customers know that their order will be delivered during the next available window on {day of the week} at {time}.

Step 6
Delivery Boundary:

  1. Checkmark 'Allow delivery everywhere within province', or

  2. Enter cities that you will deliver to; or

  3. Choose 'Area based on map' to set delivery zones.

How to use the Delivery Area / Radius method (2-steps):
    1. Draw your Delivery Boundaries: (Create a KML file using Google Maps)
    2. Upload the KML file into Buddi.

Step 7

Checkmark the box if you would like to collect both the customer's phone and email address:A close up of a sign

Description automatically generated
Uncheck the box if you require only the customer's phone number at checkout.

Step 8

  1. Enable Delivery Fee: this is where you would enter the cost for delivery.

  2. Waive Delivery Fee: you can set it so that delivery is free if their total sale reaches a certain amount. For example, $100 means that delivery is free if the customer purchases over $100 in products.

  3. Minimum Order Amount: this is a minimum amount that a customer needs to purchase to be able to choose delivery as their fulfillment method.

Step 9

Review your configuration options for delivery.

NOTE: Online payments need to be set up for this step.

  1. Go to Store Settings > Online Menu: Configuration page

  2. Checkmark 'Accept online paid orders' > Select your payment processor provider:
