Accessory products behave differently from cannabis products; product content will not auto-populate your menu. Retailers provide this info themselves, and we recommend inputting these details into your POS first.
This includes the following:
- Product name
- UPC code
- Price
- Product description
- Photos
Each variant, if applicable, requires its own UPC code (ex. if it comes in different sizes, colors, quantity/pack, etc).
Notes:
- You may need to make up UPC codes for your products if they don't already exist.
- The UPC code is not the same thing as the product SKU. In fact, when making up a UPC code, ensure that it is different from your SKU. Do not include any special characters / symbols; you may use letters, numbers, or a combination of both.
Cova + Greenline/Blaze + TechPOS Users:
- Buddi can auto-sync accessory products from your POS catalog.
NOTE: This feature needs to be activated in Buddi first.
- After you have finished entering details for your accessory products in the POS, let Buddi know so that we can activate the feature (we will mass-import your accessory categories with a one-button push).
- For detailed instructions, choose one below:
- Article: Syncing Accessory Content from Cova
- Article: Syncing Accessory Content from Greenline/Blaze
- Article: Syncing Accessory Content from TechPOS
All Other POS Users:
- Buddi cannot auto-sync accessory products from your POS catalog.
- You will need to use one of the following methods:
- Prepare an Excel file to upload into Buddi.
- Add the accessory listings to Buddi manually.
